Since our founding over four decades ago, we have remained steadfast in our mission to illuminate the richness of Japanese art through the annual publication of Bijutsu Shijō-a highly specialized journal, written in Japanese and circulated exclusively within Japan.
This digital platform has been thoughtfully conceived to extend that vision beyond borders: to offer international audiences a curated introduction to the elegance, depth, and cultural resonance of Japanese art-including remarkable works that, while celebrated domestically, remain largely unknown to the wider world.
