Nagoya Gallery : Haru Miyawaki and Aibisha Painters Exhibition (in memory of Seiichi Kasai)
We are pleased to share an invitation kindly extended by Nagoya Gallery.
The exhibition entitled “Forty Years On: Haru Miyawaki and the Artists of Aibisha” will be held, featuring a selection of works that trace the artistic lineage shaped by this distinguished group.
A reference piece by Ayako Miyawaki will be included in the main presentation. In parallel, a memorial exhibition “In Memory of Seiichi Kasai” will be presented on the second floor.
This commemorative display reflects a refined adaptation of the retrospective held earlier this April at the Shukusambou Museum of Art in Sakaimachi, Ibaraki Prefecture. As many will know, Professor Kasai passed away on June 12 this year. Approximately ten of his works will be shown in quiet tribute.
The participating artists (titles omitted) include:
Haru Miyawaki/Shoichiro Osawa/Keinosuke Mori/Shigeru Ujo/Sotokio Fujii/Mutsusaburo Yamada/
Reference exhibit: Ayako Miyawaki
This exhibition is a contemplative homage to Professor Kasai, and to the artists whose works have gently illuminated a corner of our cultural history. We hope you will find the time to attend and reflect.
